Wizard the Horse needs a home

Wizard is a beautiful 12 yr old OTTB gelding who retired sound from racing. He is about 16.1hh. Nice bay with white star and snip. He is out of shape right now from lazy life in the pasture but would not take much to get him back into riding condition. Has not been ridden in a few years, but he has a good mind. He came to us skinny and scared of his own shadow. He has blossomed into a handsome, confident gelding and even has his own little band of mares. Wizard is very playful and smart. Needs someone with soft, gentle hands. Tends to be a typical TB if someone is in a rush or too harsh. LOVES attention!!! Wizard would be a blast to ride with the right "retraining". Could make a great dressage or jumper prospect. He is available through our long term foster program or to adopt. Please email for more information! Adoption fee is $1000
